Van Jones, a television celebrity, has once again embraced parenthood as he brings his fourth child into the world.

The Emmy Award winner acknowledged the birth of his second child, his second child with pal Noemi Zamacona.

Embracing Conscious Co-Parenting

Their path towards mindful co-parenting began in February 2022, with the birth of their daughter.

“God is really good! This year, He blessed me and Noemi with our second child, a healthy, happy, and lovely newborn boy,” Van Jones told People.

“Our modern family is thriving, blessings are flowing, and we appreciate all the love and support,” he continues.

“After the COVID lockdown, it became evident that I wanted another child. I found out that my buddy Noemi also wanted a kid. So, we decided to team together and become mindful co-parents. It’s a topic that I hope others will investigate and consider.”

“We brought a baby girl into our lives this month, and we will raise her together as coparents. It’s a unique moment for our family. I’m happy, thankful, and blessed. I humbly request anonymity as we work to provide this fortunate young person with a secure and loving home. I appreciate all of your love and support,” Jones continued.

A Growing Family and Shared Joy

Noemi also posted a photo of herself and the children to Instagram, writing, “I can’t wait to share this with you! This year, Van Jones and I welcomed a young child into our home! Fortunately, our daughter adores her younger brother excessively at times.

I feel very thankful that I was answered in prayer and am now the mother of two healthy babies. It seems like a miracle every day—yet total turmoil too. LOL. The amount of love, craziness, and sleep hours is tripled when there are two diaper-wearing babies! I’m coming to appreciate everything. Having said that, I have no idea how my mother managed to raise FIVE of us! Van’s support and her affection are extremely important. To all of the caregivers out there, I send my love and respect. Every day, we enable a new planet to exist.”

Van Jones also has two boys with his former wife, Jana Carter, whom he married in 2005. They confirmed their breakup in 2018.

“We will continue to raise our children together, run our businesses together, and support each other’s growth,” the couple wrote in a joint statement at the time. “There is no beef or drama—just evolution.”
