Public Holidays in Punjab on 6th, 7th February 2026

The Government of Punjab has officially declared Friday, 6th February and Saturday, 7th February 2026 as public holidays across the province.

According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), Welfare Wing, all provincial government offices, departments, and institutions will remain closed on these two days.

The notification was issued on February 3, 2026, and approved by the Chief Secretary, Government of the Punjab. The order applies to all districts of Punjab.

The government has further instructed that the notification be widely circulated through national and regional English and Urdu newspapers, as well as electronic media, to ensure maximum public awareness.

Citizens are advised to plan official and administrative work accordingly.
